Looks like a Pilsner, smells like one, but the taste is a little off. It’s ok but not in any way like a German Pilsner. First, there’s way too much of a malt profile and second there is a lack of German hop flavor. It’s got a pretty strong bittering hop flavor but it is not distinct. I agree with others, this tastes more like a blonde ale. Disappointing

Faint hop fragrance and a nice pale, amber color. Overall a balanced flavor with a tart hoppiness. There is a mild and creamy maltiness that flirts with the light resonious body. This is my favorite Karbach brew so far. Really an interesting pilsner. Light enough to breeze through, but tasty to boot

Nice straw color is clear and bright. Looks like a pils. Unfortunately, I find little that is German-tasting in this beer. The whole idea of inventing lager beers was to make a cleaner, less yeasty tasting beer. This beer is overpowered by bready, yeasty flavors and has very little of the floral hops advertised on the can. Could actually pass for a blonde ale as easily as a pils. And it ain't cheap so it will be my last Zee.

This is one of the best USA Pilseners I've had.Always prefer the bGermans but they taste different once they've been shipped over here. This beer is only a seasonal though which I don't understand.Maybe they don't realize how good it is and perhaps not the most popular of their brands
