New brewery, first time trying anything from them. Hearty pour from a growler at the La Muerta bottle share. Thank you to the guy whose name I no longer remember for inviting me into the circle and offering me a taste of this fantastic brew.
This one hits all the notes. It’s like the hefe of my wildest expectations, moreso than most hefes I’ve had in memory. By that I mean it smells wonderful, with a full aroma of banana and cloves that carries over to the taste. It’s sweet, just right, and so flavorful I’m still thinking about it a day later. This is a good one and I’m eager to see more from these guys.

Orange and hazy, head and lace are ok but not great.
Aroma is real nice, yeasty and clovey, wheaty. Flavor also nice, certainly has aspects of both wheat beers, hefs and wits, cloves, a smidge of banana, a little spice, ample wheat.
Body is pretty thick and chewy, good for the style.
I continue to enjoy Karbach's beers as I try them. Another tasty one.

Poured from can to Weizen glass.
Hazy amber gold body with a quickly diminishing white head.
An expected bouquet: there is banana, lemon, vanilla, maybe a little spice. This beer is mostly sweet however.
The sweetness of the nose is much subdued on the palate. The beer starts with lemon and slowly adds some clove and a general earthiness. As the drink is swallowed, the banana cream pie sweetness is reintroduced and makes for a very satisfying finish.
More bubbly than creamy, this Hefe still manages a solid medium body. I prefer a little less crispness with this style.
The aromas of this beer are excellent, almost like sticking your nose in a banana cream pie! I wish the palate did the same, but it spends more time with herbal and earthy tones. Only getting to what the nose flirted at in the finish. Still, this was quite the easy drink.
