A- Dark gold, almost red color. good amount of white foam, with a fair amount of lacing.
S- Mostly hops and malt. The citrus notes are there but more subtle. The sweet, malty smell is definitely most prominent.
T- This is very malty. Bitterness from the hops (not super citrusy in my opinion) is blended pretty well with the caramel-like sweetness from the malt. There is some pine and dark toffee at work here as well. Some citrus notes, but not really worth mentioning. Somewhat of an alcohol flavor here is well, but not really "hot". Mouth is medium and smooth, with light carbonation.
O- Had no idea what to expect with this one, but I did enjoy it. It was pretty malty but I like that once in a while. I would drink it again, and would be interested in trying more from this brewery.
Serving type: can
