This beer pours a hazy yellow or gold color,it looks nice I guess,I don't have a lot of experience with farmhouse ales so it's hard for me to judge.pours a nice head and laces the glass very well.
It smells like funky Belgian yeast all the way,the way most of the farmhouse I have had smells,a little fruit in there too.not to much spice though.
Taste is true to smell, funky Belgian yeast.this style is not to my liking right from the start so I have to really try hard to judge to style
Drinks easy enough kinda light compared to others in the style.
Overall I don't care for farmhouse but I try to be fair and hey this one ain't bad.not too bad with the funky yeast and very drinkable the abv is hidden well.karbach is well on its way to becoming the best craft beer in the houston area and i found all their beer on sale at heb for 5.99 a six pack so I bought everything they make.

On tap at Anvil.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of Belgian yeast notes, as well as a little bit if spice and some biscuit malt. The flavor features a lot of orange and lemon citrus notes, as well as some sugar and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice Texas-made saison.

A saison from a can? In!
Clear golden. Creamy, persistent near-white head. Not a lot of stick, but a pretty beer nonetheless.
Very classic saison aroma. Dried grass and a little hay, very mild lemon, good amounts of earth, and faint, leafy hop character. Very nice.
Similar flavor as the aroma. Yeast dominated flavor with earth and dried grass notes shining through right up against just a bit of lemon, pepper, and leaf. Very tasty.
Medium bodied with crisp, near-high carbonation.
Too crushable. I want to get a case of this for the racetrack.

Slightly hazy brassy color. Head thins out quickly. Smell has the typical American saison thing going on. Really pronounced yeast. Very spicy and fruity. Taste is very sweet for my taste. The spiciness is more subdued than in the smell. Nice bready malts and a really nice floral aftertaste. If this were a bit less sweet and had a little less alcohol, it would be pretty great. Mouthfeel is severely lacking in carbonation. I think the lack of carbonation raises the perceived sweetness. Overall this is an OK attempt at an American saison. Really can't compete with some of the better Belgian examples. It's flawed, but salvageable if Karbach decides to tweak the recipe.
