Poured from 22 oz bomber into APA glass.
A: Golden amber with enormous 4-5 finger fluffy white head that hung around for a long time like a marshmallow cloud. Some chunky lacing on the glass...
S: Biscuit, sweet malts, and maybe a bit of grapefruit and pine resin.
T: Sweet malts and biscuits. A faint hints of citrus with some bitter hops, but definitely subdued. I was expecting a bigger hop assault but didn't get it. The bottle labels as a Belgian IPA but I don't really get any specific Belgian qualities here either. Maybe this one is a bit past it's prime?
M: Medium body and fairly well carbonated.
O: Decent brew, but not one of my favorites. There are several other IPA's, Belgian and otherwise, that I would choose first.

22 oz bomber
A: Fairly aggressive pour into a 12 oz taster glass. Giant 4-inch, slightly-tan head that very slowly receded into a pillowy cloud like head on top of the beer. Beer is a golden amber color and slightly hazy like a Belgian triple. Sticky lacing on side of glass. Nice carbonation a little on the light side.
S: Hops up front in a big way. Notes of grapefruit and other citrus, pine and pineapple.
T: Again HOPPY! The bitterness is very nice and the slightly low carbonation is made up for with the bite of the hops. Slight maltiness helps to balance out the hops. The ABV is hidden completely.
M: Bite of the hops followed by a smooth creamy finish. Light and crisp on the tongue. Very slight warmth from the ABV.
O: A very nice beer at a great price-point. I have had several other Karbach brews and this one does not disappoint. I recommend anyone liking this style to give this one a shot. I plan to keep a couple of these around.
