Poured from 22 oz bomber into APA glass.

A: Golden amber with enormous 4-5 finger fluffy white head that hung around for a long time like a marshmallow cloud. Some chunky lacing on the glass...

S: Biscuit, sweet malts, and maybe a bit of grapefruit and pine resin.

T: Sweet malts and biscuits. A faint hints of citrus with some bitter hops, but definitely subdued. I was expecting a bigger hop assault but didn't get it. The bottle labels as a Belgian IPA but I don't really get any specific Belgian qualities here either. Maybe this one is a bit past it's prime?

M: Medium body and fairly well carbonated.

O: Decent brew, but not one of my favorites. There are several other IPA's, Belgian and otherwise, that I would choose first.

22 oz bomber

A: Fairly aggressive pour into a 12 oz taster glass. Giant 4-inch, slightly-tan head that very slowly receded into a pillowy cloud like head on top of the beer. Beer is a golden amber color and slightly hazy like a Belgian triple. Sticky lacing on side of glass. Nice carbonation a little on the light side.

S: Hops up front in a big way. Notes of grapefruit and other citrus, pine and pineapple.

T: Again HOPPY! The bitterness is very nice and the slightly low carbonation is made up for with the bite of the hops. Slight maltiness helps to balance out the hops. The ABV is hidden completely.

M: Bite of the hops followed by a smooth creamy finish. Light and crisp on the tongue. Very slight warmth from the ABV.

O: A very nice beer at a great price-point. I have had several other Karbach brews and this one does not disappoint. I recommend anyone liking this style to give this one a shot. I plan to keep a couple of these around.

I believe this is my first taste of this brewery's beer. All good so far!

Tan and clear with a good white head and plenty of lace.

Aroma and flavor are a little more towards the IPA end of the spectrum for this style. Hops dominate, but there are notes of breadiness and a light and pleasant sweetness as well. The flavor is full and tasty.

Body is creamy and medium, carbonation is smooth, it's an enjoyable beer. I will look for others from Karbach, since this one is so tasty.

This ale pours out a nice dirty golden color, think of a dark golden wheat color, the body is hazy and topped off with a nice tan head roughly a finger and a half thick. Citrus fruits like grapefruit and lemons first hit your nose; orange zest coriander and mild pineapple also come through mixed in with some spiciness. Its light and crisp on the tongue; the spices and hop are upfront but not overpowering. The citrus fruits follow and then the mild bitterness kicks in. Over all this is a very smooth tasting Belgian IPA and the flavor is well done. I’ll certainly be buying a few more of these!
