A nice murky walnut rust color with a solid white blanket on top. Lacing is decently forming rings along the way. The aroma is a mellow veggie/ spice but also a straight ahead malt. The flavor is nice and a little different. Maple malt and sweet yam, root beer and juniper. This really grows on me. The body is medium plus with a crisp tingly feel. I get a hint of alcohol but it doesn't spoil it at all. The juniper idea almost gives it a medicinal quality, in a good way, like Dr. Pepper, which brings home a holiday idea. This one could work all through Thanksgiving and Christmas! Not just another pumpkin beer, so it's a matter of what your tastes are for these seasonal brews. I liked it quite a bit.

Excellent head production, with nearly two fingers of light tan foam sitting atop a deep caramel body. Retention is very good.

Nose is a light blend of pumpkin, pumpkin spice, and caramel grain. Moderately hopped, with hints of pine, citrus, and earth.

Flavor follows, with a nice blend of hops and caramel malt, with the pumpkin and sake yeast adding accents rather than taking over. Slightly sour, only mildly vegetal (primarily on the finish), with lots of caramel grain, brown sugar, cream, orange pith and peel, toast, and pine.

Very smooth and drinkable, with plenty of body provided by the high ABV, but no booze or heat. Very lively.

Had on tap. Pours clear, orange in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is ginger, cinnamon, clove, and toasted malt. Medium bodied and slightly sweet. Makes for an average pumpkin ale. Not bad, but nothing I would rush out for either.

Pours a beautiful gold, with a small white head that has retention and leaves nice lace. Has an aroma of citrus, ginger and pumpkin--smells like fall. The taste is sweet, with herbal layers and flavors of pumpkin and ginger.

On-cask 9/14/2015 at Brutopia, in Cranston, RI served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep golden brown color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains lemon, ginger, pumpkin, caramelized malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out with a very strong herbal flavor followed by sweet flavors of lemon, ginger and pumpkin and ginger spice. The malt character is hearty and the malt character is mild but complementary creating some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, strong kick, decent representation of style, it’s complex and different, but overall not something I would be able to drink much of.
