look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance 3.75: Poured out a frothy , deep golden. Head swelled up to a respectable 1/2" and refused to completely go away. Lots of little CO2 bubbles, but this is a somewhat opaque ale and it looks great.

Smell 3.75: Bouquet is hop-forward, like an IPA should be. I smell the familiar alkaline hit of Columbus, Chinook...maybe a couple of other left-coast "C" hops. Very nice and inviting.

Taste 4.25: Front is somewhat dry, with a pleasant initial alkaline punch. Middle is also a little dry, but features a huge hit of hop yumminess: citrus rind, grapefruit, pine, chlorophyl. Finish is smooth and malty, with a pleasant alkaline underpinning and more discernible citrusy tastes from the hops. Aftertaste is of medium length and all in the back of the mouth, featuring more hop accents. Very nice.

Mouthfeel 4.0: Really on the mark for this type of beer. Silky smooth and just the right amount of bubbles.

Overall 4.0: Excellent IPA. Great malt and hop balance and the alpha hops chosen for this brew are a wonderful blend. Perfect for sessioning, this baby would also stand up well to whatever food you pair it with, its dryness makes it a great companion. ABV is a little big for this type of ale, so watch out. Recommended.

Clear pale yellow in color with almost zero head and the thinnest of collars. Aroma is lacking. Barely any malt at all, zero hop character. Taste is kind of like some kind of industrial cleaner. Thin in body and medium carbonation. I wish this brewery was better considering it's only about 10 minutes away from my parents' new house in Marietta.

On tap at the brewery.

Weedy, grassy, herbal, grapefruit peel aroma: hop-dominant as expected.

Flavor: Hops present a more balanced taste with a touch more fruit. Mild bitterness turns a bit higher in the aftertaste.

Hazy amber body with a durable off-white head.

From the 12 fl. oz. can marked Canned 11/08/13. A gift from a friend that I sampled on February 3, 2014.

Golden yellow pour building up to a foamy, pilsener-like, soapy white head. Some lacing.

Pleasant earthy, pine, and and green apple notes on the nose. Malts come up behind in a mellower fashion. Relaxing nose.

The body is a little acidic but generally on the medium side.

The taste has a notable hop character that clings to the back of my throat and lingers bitterly for a few seconds after each swallow. Tastes clean as well as biting.
