A very solid lager...
Great orange-tinged coloration but with a short-lived foam and no lacing. The smell is lightly sweet and off the normal track for a lager, mouthfeel was carbonated and the taste was crisp, slighlty fruity, and just an all around very decent instance of the style. Definitely could see me downing these while fishing off coast this summer.

Poured from can: nice amber color, hearty head that subsided around 5 minutes after pour and left no legs.
Smell is bright, clean, and natural. With no overwhelming smell other than that of a classic lager.
Taste is a bit on the average side, however, it has more liveliness and complexity than your ordinary lager. Feel is about the same, but refreshing.
Overall: good lager, that is refreshing and rejuvenating. Would be great as a meal or just a good lager for barstooling. Would reccomend

From notes 5/24/13: Pours clear golden straw with a 2 finger, frothy, somewhat lasting, white head that diminishes to patchy rings of lace. Aroma is pilsner yeast, fruity, bread, cereal grain, and a hint of lemon. Taste is grain, cracker/biscuit, pale malt, lemony, grassy hops and a light bitter aftertaste. Finishes clean, crisp, dry. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, moderately carbonated and peppery throughout much of the sip.

Long Day has a thick, off-white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, deep gold appearance, and a bit of glass lacing. Aroma is of malt and grass, and the flavor is of rich, sharp barley, a touch of lemon, and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is nearly heavy, and Long Day finishes medium dry.
