A good little "hole in the wall" type of bar. Feels like being in a wooden shack with the dim lighting. Good place to drink in a snow storm. The bartenders are great, and there are always great people to drink with every time you go. While the beer list is usually full of duds, there is always one or two really special beers. They have good burgers there, but the pizza isn't worth the money. I also really like the different size glasses, they have a 6 oz, a snifter, an 11 oz, and a pint. And I can't forget that they have a few good bourbons. This is a very good place to drink.

Enjoyable location with a rotating selection of beers. Tap leans heavily towards DIPA and Stout varieties, which is not a bad thing, although it can leave one wanting in the summer months.

Prices are a bit high for many of their beers as the quality of quite a few of their offerings is suspect.

Overall, a place with a great atmosphere and wonderful outdoor seating area. I would recommend it to someone visiting the area, but it's just a bit too pricey and poor in its selection to drink at on a regular basis.

Great atmosphere. Good service. Good bar food. I love that they switch up the different handles all the time but at the same time they get a lot of dud's. You can get stuff like Founders and Floyds but then have stuff like Finch's and Two Brothers. I feel they are upping there game but still could use some better beers. The owner is amazing and the staff is very friendly. One of my favorite places to go in the area. Definitely better then the ale house as far as food and atmosphere.

Gammon Coach House, welcome to the neighborhood!

Unlike your typical strip mall beer bar or franchise establishment, Gammon Coach House offers that real, cozy, and welcoming community atmosphere for craft beer lovers old and new.

I really liked how they offered small, medium, and large sized options. I don't want to have to pay $8 for a big barleywine that I'm not sure I'll enjoy. Or $10 for a flight of beers when I only want to try one specific beer.

They really get it over at the Gammon Coach House, with great food and great beer, I'm sure glad they moved in near me!

I went here last night to have a couple beer with friends. I live across town in Batavia so I've been trying to get in here for months.

The beer garden outside was full on a Saturday night so I went inside to check out the bar. It's small, about 10 people at a time with tables taking up the rest of the place. It's not overly loud inside, music was just the right volume.

The service here is what will keep me coming back. The bartender knew a lot about the beers they had on tap and in bottles/cans. The servers were also very good, if they didn't know the answer to a question they found out.

The beer selection was good; Left Hand, Two Brothers, Ommegang, Victory were among the 12 taps plus a good bottle selection. I had brought some beers to trade with the people I was meeting and the bartender let us pop a 2012 Dark Lord and a 3F Live a Rich Life right at the bar.

Pricing was pretty much in line for what you would expect. I will have no problem coming back.

Everything was great at this place, I don't hesitate to recommend it as one of the few beer bar/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The only thing marring the experience was the waiter bringing my guest and I the wrong beers, which he comp'ed, then brought us another wrong beer. He also confirmed with us at one point our food items and got the details wrong, but fixed them and the food came out right, so maybe he was just having a bad day. Aside from that, nice beer list and pretty decent bar food with good atmosphere, a little difficult to find if you don't know downtown Batavia well. Would recommend.

They have a small beer garden right out side the front door. Once you walk in the bar is right in front of you, it seats about 10. The restaurant seats about 40 in two different rooms.

The food is a better class of bar food, the burgers we ordered were great.

They have 11 rotating taps and a rotating bottle selection of 17.
They have a list of all there beers that they update frequently. If you goto there web site they have a current up to date list of both there bottles and drafts, you cant beet that.
