The beer arrived in the proper glass clear pale golden with a white frothy and moussy head which was tall and lasted very well to lace the glass.
The aroma was lightly corny and spicy with a light cinnamon and pepper presence and a somewhat odd melon aromatic.
The flavor was light with more DMS corny character and an earthy hop bittering and flavor. The flavor was light and did not have an overly pronouced hop, nor malt presence.
The body was medium light with a creamy mouthfeel and a really high carbonation level. The finish was dry with corn and light spice lasting into the aftertaste. The beer would benefit from a boost in complexity. Overall a fairly bland beer. Near the end of the glass as the beer approached ambient temps, a slight diacetyl built in the flavor.
Draft at De Halve Maan on 9/14/06, called Brugse Zot Blond there.

It pours into a nice head and amber color. Medium carbonation. No significant aroma or flavor other than a tiny bit flowery. At room temp the carbonation is gone and smells like a pilsener Urquell. Tastes like an Urquell but not so dry. Drink it while is cold and forget about it.
