On tap at The Basin Pub in Bushnell's Basin, New York.

Pours a golden yellow, with a half inch head, and lots of lacing.

Smells mildly piney and floral, with some caramel malts.

This one tastes fairly good, but there's seems to be a little oomph missing in the middle. It's billed as a West Coast IPA, I expect it to have that oomph. There's some bready caramelly malt, overlaid by piney and floral hop character. It's typical and expected, but there's not much more over the top of that.

Medium bodied, crisp, clean mouthfeel, slightly watery. Fairly drinkable.

A bit of a disappointment, but still a good drinkin' IPA.

A-pours a clear golden/yellow color with a small but staying white head streaks of lacing
S-light floral hops notes of pine and malt
T-rather weak light citrus hops with bread like malts
M-medium carb with a dry semi-sweet feel watery for an IPA
O-wanted more out of this more WC hops with more meat and flavor this was rather bland was like a session IPA or a PA low on flavor

Review taken from notes dated 12/7/13 during the 1st Annual BA Winter Warmer Pub Crawl: Denver Style. Beer tried at the Lucky Pie in LoDo.

Golden body with a soft, creamy, white head. Bready malt aroma with a light hop character. Juicy taste with a light citrus touch; excellent bitterness. Medium body, crisp, clean, dry finish.

Well-balanced malt and hop combination; smooth and very drinkable. Solid representation of the newer IPA styles.

16 oz can at the brewery in Longmont, CO. I was pretty skeptical that this would actually be a west coast IPA and I was right. yellow color, good head. Aroma is slightly hoppy but like a weedy sort of hop. Flavor was bitter, hoppy but more green than tropical fruit, definitely not dank nor a west coast IPA. I'm not sure I even know what the term means anymore its been bastardized by so many brewers but I do know that if its not from California its likely fugazi.

Review from notes taken last night at Red, Wine and Brew in Mentor, Ohio.

Poured from tap into 10 oz. tulip glass. Cost of $4 I believe.

A White head that lasted about 2 minutes. Yellow translucent body featured nicely by the tulip glass. Nothing too remarkable to the appearance. 3.5

S Grapefruit hops abound! some "heat" in the smell but overall inviting and it certainly delivers on the hop aroma. 3.5

T Grapefruit hops continue right into the taste with a nearly bitter but mostly citrusy fruit hops. Again, some "heat" noted in the taste but not distractingly. This is a good, solid IPA taste to me. 3.5

M Moderate mouthfeel as I would expect, elevated by the bitter hops. 3.0

D/O Drinkability is fair. Overall this is a slightly above average West Coast IPA IMO. I found it to not be too adventurous or remarkable. A very solid IPA. 3.5
