A nice example of a Strong Scotch ale.
A - Mohogany with some translucense. Clear. Good head on the pour, settles to a ring.
S - Sweet. Some toasty-ness. Some deep faint malt if you look for it. Oak.
T - Strong malt sweetness. Takes some getting used to, but that's usually the way with this style. Once you're acclimated it's quite clean in the finish.
M - Let it settle for a bit, the carbonation is way too much initially.
D - Well, it's 8% and the tart sweetness gives pause. But after finishing one, I would consider another.
