Saw this one on the shelves for the first time yesterday. Very attractive looking can and upon inspecting Oskar Blues, lead me to the purchase.
This one pours out with a nice solid yellow crystal clear body. Ample amounts of head and sticky lacing creep down the sides of the glass.
Aroma is actually quite complex. It's spicy, and assertive. With a grassy edge. A touch of hay, a bit of citrus, and spruce. It's overall very floral and perfumy, without being cloying.
Quite nice, especially for a Pilsener.
Taste is a mix of subtle fragrances coliding with a nice display of malt. A bit spicy and citrusy upfront, soon fades to a drying earthiness. Plenty to offer here, with the flavors being well balanced.
Another great beer from Oskar Blues. Can they even make a bad beer? I think not. Well done fellas.

Taken from my fridge, poured, and let sit for about 3 minutes. It was crisp and clear, with about a 4 finger head that dissipated in about 5 minutes with a good amount of glass lacing. The smell is what I expect in a pilsner: crisp lemon and a bit of bready-ness. The taste follows the smell: lemon with a bit of bready-ness at the end. It's easy to drink and would be a perfect session beer at a BBQ (or with this turkey sub that I have). I'd buy it again to introduce people to craft beers.
