A: Pours a clear straw yellow out of the can with a couple of fingers of frothy white head with large bubbles that quickly dissipates.

S: Noble hop spiciness is subtle against a light grainy character.

T: Surprisingly flavorful. A nice mild hop spiciness is present, but restrained against a faint grainy malt background.

M: Crisp and refreshing with a high level of carbonation. Very refreshing.

O: This would be a great beer to have with some spicy food, or on a hot summer day.

Have to hand it to Oskar Blues for always coming out with neat cans.

Being a pils this obviously is a light brew

The German and pale malts mix quite well with the Bavarian hops.
This is a great lite,heavily carbonated,solid brew.

Great for Spring/Summer--so excited for this warm weather finally!!

12oz can at 41 F poured into a pilsner glass. Canned on date 12/19/2013 @07:45. As the bowl turns.

Pours very slightly hazy golden with an initial large head that fades at a moderate pace. Lots of carbonation. Smell is yeasty with a slight spicy hint.

Taste is nicely bitter with a surprising sweetness. I like pilsners, but I feel like I'm just starting to really pay attention to them -- the sweetness detracts from the crispness slightly, but overall is pretty pleasant. Bitterness, however, is a little on the mild side. Not heavy enough to stand up to the sweetness.

Mouthfeel is thick, sticky. Overall, it seems pretty good. Not exemplary, but not something to avoid.
