Pours a brilliant light golden color with a foamy one inch white head that dissipates somewhat quickly, leaving no lacing.
Aroma is grainy and slightly sweet, with floral hop accents. Malt is almost more bready than cracker-like. Honeysuckle comes to mind.
Flavor reveals more perfumey and floral notes, which are at the base throughout. Fairly bready malt hits mid palate and is somewhat nutty, carrying into a slightly dry, bitter finish. There's a hint of citrus emerging late.
Body is moderate, with moderate carbonation and a touch of grainy astringency at the finish.
More bready and hoppy than most pilsners I've had. Which also means more character, and that's fine with me.

Taken from my fridge, poured, and let sit for about 3 minutes. It was crisp and clear, with about a 4 finger head that dissipated in about 5 minutes with a good amount of glass lacing. The smell is what I expect in a pilsner: crisp lemon and a bit of bready-ness. The taste follows the smell: lemon with a bit of bready-ness at the end. It's easy to drink and would be a perfect session beer at a BBQ (or with this turkey sub that I have). I'd buy it again to introduce people to craft beers.
