Pours a perfectly clear lemon yellow. A couple of fingers of fizzy white head form, taking a respectable time falling into thin cap. Little spots of foam form a random pattern on the whole of the glass.
Aroma is dry grainy malt with a hint of grass.
Flavor is nicely balanced starting with a good malty grain. There's a better hop character here, coming with a little herbal, a little spicy to a good moderate bitterness which defines the finish. There a very slight, almost more feel than flavor, buttery note.
Medium body with good carbonation. But the feel, that buttery feel, sticks around too long to be the classic pils "clean".
A good attempt at a hard-to-find style.

Taken from my fridge, poured, and let sit for about 3 minutes. It was crisp and clear, with about a 4 finger head that dissipated in about 5 minutes with a good amount of glass lacing. The smell is what I expect in a pilsner: crisp lemon and a bit of bready-ness. The taste follows the smell: lemon with a bit of bready-ness at the end. It's easy to drink and would be a perfect session beer at a BBQ (or with this turkey sub that I have). I'd buy it again to introduce people to craft beers.
