This has been a personal favorite of mine for a while so I figure it's time to give it a proper review.
Pours a pale yellow with a fluffy white head about 1 inch high that dissolves slowly. Obvious strong carbonation that looks very inviting.
Smell is earthy, a little sweet, and slightly hoppy. Not a real strong smell on the nose but the proper pilsener notes are there.
Taste has an earthy hoppiness upfront that finishes up very dry. Solid malt backbone but nothing real sweet in the taste. Not particularly bitter at all but you really feel like you can taste the hops (which i'm assuming are saaz).
Mouthfeel is great for the style. Crisp, well carbonated, and with the right amount of smoothness, making it easy to drink.
Overall I think this is a great example of the style. A good casual beer to drink on a hot day (or really any day for that matter). A lot of flavor without a lot of heaviness, which is always appreciated.
