Poured from a can into a tulip glass, golden tangerine hues shine out like rays of sunshine. Slight hayzy apperance with thin head that fails to hold on.
Aroma possible the worst thing about this brew. Surprising garlic, green onion, and chive aromas. Somewhat rubber aromas too. Some malt sweetness but smells more like a kitchen than a brew. Most unique aroma on any brew.
Sweet mango, pear, and orange peel zest warms tastebuds up. Slightly spicy. Just as one identifys orange zest, drink morfs into a garlic, chive combo. By far the most unusual flavor profiles, but it works. Some toasted grain can be detected too. Alchol shakes things up with a boozie finish.
A mostly medium mouthfeel. Hop resins sticky and clingy at finish. Alchol leaves slight burn in mouth.
Unusual? YES! But it works. Great job by the guys at Oskar Blues. Drink is far outside the box but quite enjoyable. Gubna's a winner!

Pour is golden with white head. Sticky and lingering lace.
Lemon zest with grapefruit and pine in the nose.
Spivey punch in the initial sip. Both from the hops and malts. I love the blend of rye and dark Munich. This really adds to the complexity of the hop bill. Easy drinking with medium mouthfeel and a sharp bite from carbonation.
Some more pine and grapefruit in the aftertaste with a dry enough finish.
Overall a solid imperial IPA. Doesn't blow you away but very solid throughout.
