$4.99 for one can of this beer. Definitely not worth $4.99
appearance - Dark golden in color. Small head, not much lasting power. no lacing of note.
smell- The smell is mainly grapefruit, and caramel, and something else grassy, or gardeny. Wait now...did I just smell onion. That was weird...yeah..onion, or chive or whatever. What is that doing there. hum...citrus and onion.
taste- Taste is pretty sweet and caramel, a little mineral taste hits me, and then just really syrupy caramel and a honey like sweetness (honey, or honey malt?). Bitterness is strong and lasting.
mouthfeel - medium mouthfeel with low level of carbonation.
overall - pretty underwhelmed by this. I thought that this was there best offering other then 10-Fidy. Syrupy, minerally, and onion(?), and of course citrus hops. Just didn't work for me and definitely not worth the money.

Pour is golden with white head. Sticky and lingering lace.
Lemon zest with grapefruit and pine in the nose.
Spivey punch in the initial sip. Both from the hops and malts. I love the blend of rye and dark Munich. This really adds to the complexity of the hop bill. Easy drinking with medium mouthfeel and a sharp bite from carbonation.
Some more pine and grapefruit in the aftertaste with a dry enough finish.
Overall a solid imperial IPA. Doesn't blow you away but very solid throughout.
