Poured into a snifter. 1/2 finger head that faded quickly to a ring. Clear, copper colored body.
Smell was malty and mildy sweet. Citrusy and resiny, great aroma.
Taste was alot like the aroma. Malty backbone with a mild sweetness. Mild bitterness that hangs in the finish but a nice strong bitterness on the tongue throughout the taste. Good resiny hop flavor with lots of citrus flavors.
Mouthfeel was medium body with medium carbonation. Slightly sticky and dry finish.
Drinkability was good although there were some definite signs of abv.
Very good DIPA in my opinion. Still pretty easy to drink for 10% and big on flavor.

can into a pint glass. Canned 4/28/14, so less than 3 months old. Alright, lets do this.
Looks pretty decent, hazy yellow, lite carbonation. small 1/2 inch white head which persisted. light but interesting lacing.
Almost nothing at all on the nose, some sweet malts.
What the freak? Very sweet, and very boozy. I did get some faint sweetness on the nose, but no boozy smell at all. Almost no hops at first, but then did get some bitterness along the edge of the tongue. Tongue itself coated with sweetness, and an alcohol burn in the back of the throat. Now this was not exactly unpleasant, but not expected from a less than 3 month old DIPA. 10%abv very obvious.
Mouth was around medium, and a little syrupy.
Was pretty disapointed in this. The taste I got, while not unpleasant, was not what I was expecting.
