Poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear light copper with a two fingered off white head that really stands up.

Aromas of lots of citrusy hops, oranges, grapefruit, and pine resins. Not overpowering, a little on the subtle side. Some bready, toasty malt to back up the hops.

Flavors of pine and citrus hop bitterness. Citrus is more zest than juice. Bitterness isn't harsh. Malt comes at the end of the sip with bready graininess, and some caramel sweetness.

Mouthfeel is medium/light, mouthcoating astringent bitterness. Nice level of carbonation.

Overall a very nice APA. Almost sessionable, but a little high in alcohol to have more than two or three at a sitting. Bitterness isn't palate fatiguing. A freshing beer for 6.5 percent and a firm bitterness.

-from notes
Poured from a "stovepipe" can into a glass

Pours a very nice cloudy copper-orange with a one-finger, foamy head that leaves some light lacing.

The aroma is subtle; grassy, with a bit of lemon.

The taste is marvelous. I get some pine and grassiness up front with a hint of sweet nuttiness and bready malt. There is a nice, lingering bitterness.

Really like the feel of this beer. A little smooth with a nice mouth-coating quality.

Overall, a really good beer that I wish was available to me on a regular basis.
