Golden-orange to pale amber in color depending on the background. 3 finger off white head that recedes leaving tons of lacing.
The aroma is the strong point. Plenty of ripe citrus with a bit of sweet malt in the background. Spicy and peppery. Some light toastiness as well.
This may be the sweetest pale ale I've sampled yet. Here the citrus is more on the light side, the malt shines through more, and there is a substantial hoppy bitterness to counter it all.
My first can was Very smooth with moderate carbonation, but the second was considerably more carbonated. and had noticable bite. A bit of light sticky malt on the tougue, and drying in the end.
A very pleasing pale ale. At first it was a bit too smooth for my taste, but the second can kicked ass. Definitely worh another try.
