First of all, I want to say that I absolutely prefer this over Dale's Pale Ale. I know, I know, they're not the same style, but I just wanted to say it.
This is a good IPA from Oskar. The color is copper, and you can smell the pine wafting. I certainly can taste the alcohol coming through, but it is not overpowering enough to the point where it becomes difficult to drink. I also can taste that it's hoppy, but to my surprise, it's not as overly strong as some other IPAs I've tasted in the past.
The only drawback is that the four pack of tallboys isn't cheap. I think it would have been ideal if somehow Oskar would drop down the price a bit so I can buy it a bit more often.

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
