Dales is my daily go-to beer, and I am a fan of Oskar, so this review will be high.
The increased ABV and body over Dales turns up the sweetness, and mouth feel.
It's a tie with Dales they are two different brews, cousins, but depending on your mood each could be on top at a given moment.
A: Darker, more haze, more rocky head, like cotton candy, followed by even stickier lace. Near perfect.
S: Fruit, grass, wet leaves, herbs, hemp, pine, honey wrap around your senses as you sniff this.
Like smoking weed.
T: Follows the smell, a bit sweeter than Dales. A nice long flavor arc: all of the above, and a cleansing, tingly finish.
MF: Body, weight, all the above, and long long finish. Not a first of the night beer. A great last of the night beer. Super-charged balance of malt and hops.
A must try, I'd like to keep one always around.

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
