Poured out of a can, of course. I always thought cans meant bad beer, but that is not true. Cans do a fine job of protecting the beer, and Oskar Blues has some of the finest beer I've ever had.
Anyway, pours cloudy amber, just like an India Pale Ale should. Nice three finger head that slowly dissipates and leaves a lot of lacing clinging to the glass. Smells like flowers and caramel. Really awesome.
The taste is outstanding. Nice bitter hops, combined with sweet caramel. Mouth feel is thick and indulgent. One of the best pale ales I've ever had. That caramel flavor is like nothing I've ever had. It's like beer candy. I'm totally impressed with Oskar Blues, and will be sampling all they have to offer.

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
