A - Poured a hazy dark orange with a creamy 2 finger off white head. Leaves nice lacing up on the glass with tiny bubbles streaming up the sides of the glass giving the appearance of nice carbonation.
S - The nose is a piney grass, dank oniony - garlic hop aroma, followed by a sweet malty-ness that is in the background to the powerful hops. No alcohol at all.
T - Taste follows nose pretty well with a unique oniony/garlic flavor and then the piney grassy hops follow with a muted sweet malty-ness just like the nose. Real earthy flavor for an IPA.
M - This is real soft and smooth with a lovely chewyness that makes it quit quaff-able and surprisingly easy drinking for a 8% IPA.
O - This IPA is definitely a unique IPA in comparison to others that I have had. It is real earthy and piney with some of the other aspects mention which make it worth trying on those aspects alone not to mention the awesome mouth feel and beautiful look it has. A must try for a hop head looking for a new hop aroma other then the typical west coast citrus hop bomb, Cheers!
