A – deep copper color with nice head, sticky lacing
S – My sense of smell is not great so I am not the best to describe this but I did not detect a big hop aroma, besides I like drinking beer not smelling it.
T – Sweet sticky malt front and center. There was a slight hoppy/boozy finish. This was a border line double IPA. I am actually surprised they call an IPA because it is so sweet and low on the hop-o-meter. This was not totally chilled so maybe because it was on the warm side it tasted sweeter.
M – this has a very thick mouth feel, not unpleasant but just thick. Not a session beer
O – A tasty beer if you like thick sticky sweet low hop IPAs.

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
