Growler to tulip.
A- Dark sunset orange. Two and a half finger head that slowly turned into a nice film. Extraordinary lacing all the way down.
S- Grapefruit, passion fruit, and mango dominate the nose. Can smell the alcohol, no malts detected.
T- Very similiar to the smell. Starts piny and bitter leading into some strong tropical fruits, Passion fruit and mango. The malts in the finish help balance it out, with notes fresh bread and tofee.
M- Pretty light for the style with a good amount of carbonation. Mouthfeel is slick. Heat from the alcohol is well masked making this a dangerous one.
O- A truly excellent beer. Similiar to Pliny IMO. It's hard to nit pick this beer, I just wish they would can this one!
Serving type: growler

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
