A: Reddish hue with a large frothy 3-inch, gorgeous and thick and bready looking head; lacing is pretty good
S: Lots of citrus: orange, mango, grapefruit with some pine resin, as well as somewhat of a sweet malty base; I also get a boozy finish with just a touch of weed from the hops
T: Bitter, citrusy, fruity up front with a mild malty sweetness to balance things out; not too boozy but the alcohol is present; I love how the citrus from the hops starts and finish this beer
F: Medium body; sticky and oily and creamy
O: Really a nice hoppy, somewhat harsh, boozy, fruity DIPA; I like

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
