Appearance: Copper, caramel color with a nice head and lacing.
Smell: Citrus notes. It's clear, even from a sniff, that this is a pretty high-alcohol beer.
Taste: Caramel and citrus notes. There's a nice balance between the hops and malt, both of which have a large presence. There is a little astringency, and some bitterness at the finish. But, overall, very nice. Neighbor called it "very refreshing."
Mouthfeel: Nice mouthfeel. Smooth and surprisingly light.
Overall: This is a dangerously drinkable high-ABV IPA.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
