Hoppy goodness contained in a tall boy can. A great "move up" IPA, if you're just getting into the style.
Pours a clear, light caramel color with a tall foamy head that persists. If you like a good bit of head on your beer, you'll like this ale.
This isn't the most aggressively aroma-hopped ale, but it's a contender. Grapefruit rind and blood orange aromas hit the nose. Mmmm. I like it!
Now that we've taken care of the olfactory, let's assault the palate with a substantial IBU count. This is another strongly hopped ale. But boy, does it taste good.
This ale isn't light, it has a lot of dextrinous compounds that give this ale a good weight on the tongue. Not a session ale, oh no.
Overall, a great West Coast style IPA. Buy a four pack of cans and don't plan on drinking them all in one evening.

Born on date : 4/24/14 - Enjoyed 7/27/14
A: Honey colored with 1 finger of white head. The head settles relatively quickly. The can includes a very obvious, and readable, born on date on the bottom!
S: Piney and floral. There are mild hints of citrus. As it warmed I got more grassy smells.
T: Sweet on the front of the tongue. The finish is piney and grassy with just a hint of bitter.
M: Smooth and easy to drink. The carbonation is low.
O: Great overall beer. All of the parts play well together. Only a slight hint of the 8% ABV. This beer is complex and has lots of flavors going on. Also the bitterness is kept in check - which I like.
