I had this beer at Brick store pub in Decatur, GA.
They're have a series of rare barrel age brews that they receive with collaboration and due to the fact that Brick Store is a world renowned pub.

Appearance: Poured from tap into a adapted pilsner glass. Poured a dark purple with a cream 1/2 inch head with good retention and minimal lacing. The age gave it a certain clarity and rich purple color from the sour cherry. It is a beautiful adaptation to Old Chub ( a fruit beer adaptation)

Smell: This is the best part. Right off the bat I'm bombarded by rich sour cherry smells mixed with fairly high alcohol content. It's smells like a sour fruit lambic (and taste a bit like one too). Once the fruit smell subsides (allowing the beer to settle) the familiar smells of rich, roasted, dark malt and strong Scottish whiskey come through.

Taste: The smells come through in the taste straightforward. The sour cherries are the most pronounced. As the beer settles and warms in this 90-100 degree Atlanta heat, the beer becomes more bitter and a little more difficult to drink. The taste cold is fantastic. The alcohol content seems more pronounced in this beer than a typical Old Chub.

Mouthfeel: A medium body, rich feel. Medium to full carbonation.

Drinkability: Overall this was a very intriguing variation to the Old Chub. A 3 year aged fruit Scottish ale is an experience to be had. I'm glad I got to enjoy it.
