Eternal hops to russpowell for sending me this...
This one looks thick and creamy, with a puffy head and ample lacing...and looks aren't just skin deep in this case: the mouthfeel is just as soft and full as you'd expect from the appearance.
The hops are very forward, but not overwhelming. They impart a dry, grassy taste mixed with some fruit accents. (I'd say apricot was dominant.)
This isn't as drinkable as it's little brother, Dale's Pale Ale, but double IPAs are usually a little rough and surly. This one doesn't step out of character.
Cans are good.
