Appearance: Poured into a Duvel tulip; a deep orangish ruby, super three finger cream and orange head that wants to hang around.
Smell: Very hoppy but a nice infusion of sweet caramel malt... a little citrus in the background
Mouthfeel: Suprisingly light and airy... muted carbonation invited large sips.
Taste: Very nice sweet burnt caramel goodness and sticky hops... like a hops creme brulee... malty finish, just a little smokey... amazing complexity
Drinkability: I got a single and am regretting not going for the 4 pack... this is a very enjoyable example of the style... the alcohol is well hidden and there's something for everyone is this beer.

A: poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, red brown colored with a large foamy offwhite head that lingers leaving good lacing, clear
S: heavy on hops, earth, pine, citrus , grapefruit, breast malt sweetness, tangy and mouth watering
T: pine bitterness up front, bitter at first with a lemon quality, sweetens to honey and slight raisin flavors, hint of heavy alcohols and esters
M: medium to full with good carbonation, slight alcohol presence
O: nice balance of bitter mixed with quite sweet maltiness
