Poured from the can into a standard pint
A- Amber, almost red with a fluffy white head. The head stuck around a bit but did dissipate. Left beautiful lacing all the way down the glass.
S- Smells like hops pellets. Just hops, not a lot else.
T- Very nice. I was expecting to be overwhelmed, but it is actually quite balanced. The bitterness hang around in the mouth for a while after each sip. Caramel malts are in the middle of the taste, as well as a bit of bread or biscuit. A tiny bit of alcohol flavor when it warmed up.
MF- I wish it were slightly more carbonated, but the thickness is just right for a beer this size; somewhat syrupy, but not too much.
Overall, I was not expecting to like this, but I may seek it out for another cold night after work.
