16oz. can poured into an imperial pint.
(A)- Pours a clear pale chestnut amber color. Some really good frothy white head and lacing all over.
(S)- A nice woody pine meets a smooth amber caramel malt backbone. Ever so slight hint of orange peel from the hops.
(T)- Its a fairly potent taste in the woody pine department. Ever so slightly green in a grassy sense. Good lemon and orange citrus in the middle. Finishes dry and woody.
(M)- A good carbonation level. The balance is good too, just a bit heavy on the woody hop characters for me.
(O)- Have had this numerous times through the years but never got around to review it. Definitely one of the more solid red ales out there for me, but definitely gotta be conscious of the freshness of this in stores.
