Notes/Commercial Description:
Chris and Augie grew up as neighbors next to the hiking trails of Hartshorne Woods Park. Back then, trail mix was called GORP, standing for Good Old Raisins and Peanuts, which described it perfectly. Familiar and dependable, GORP trail mix was a combination of clean and complimentary flavors appropriate for being out on the trails. With GORP beer, we evoke recollections of fun and flavors of the trails by adding peanuts and chocolate to a robust porter base that is then fermented on black raisins. Drink GORP because it is fun to take the mix off the trail.

A: Pours a hazy brown color, with no transparency, a slight tan head with a little lacing around the glass as you drank this one.

S: The brown bread is very present, slight hints of nuts, and brown sugar and honey, the hops and malts are slightly present.

T: Almost exactly like the note, some hints of brea and brown sugar. The hops and malts are present as well as slight hint of lemon.

M: Medium bodied, slick, mid in carbonation.

O: Easy drinker and pretty well balanced, Just nothing crazy about it definitely a sessionable beer and enjoyable with friends.

At the brewery, which is about as happy an experience as a craft drinker will get. Go there.
This brown ale is as sweet and happy an experience as you will find in a brown ale .
Better than Avery, Smutty Nose or others. Must try.
A: Pours a sweet color with a lasting and lacing head.
S: Like all Carton brews, it's ample, sporting malt back bone and caramel sweetness with balancing bitterness
T: Follows the smell. Bravo, and still keeps coming with flavor: minerally, long finish, fresh.
MF: creamy and luxurious.

Serving type: on-tap
