Appearance: Pours with half a finger of head which quickly dissipated and was not present while drinking. The color is light orange, peach color. Active carbonation is a touch light for the style.
Smell: Sprite tropical fruits and some light berry sourness greet the nose. Toasted malts with some semi-sweet bready notes open up on the body. The mulberries are felt throughout, providing some light tartness but remaining balanced and controlled throughout. There is also some apple and banana fruit notes that get picked up on the back end.
Taste: This brew wastes on time amping up the tartness on the front, with accents of berries, white grapes, prairie grass, and bright fruits that get accentuated by the carbonation. The sourness drops off after the front, but plenty of earthy berries and crisp fresh fruits are left lingering on the palate. Some malt sweetness picks up on the back end and really evens out the palate, making you want to go back for more. Some biscuit and lingering tart fruits sit on the palate long after drinking.
Mouthfeel: This brew peaks in tartness on the front, but a complex back end makes up for the fading tartness. Carbonation is low overall, but does its job when it needs to. An outstandingly drinkable sour.
Overall: A versatile and complex sour that I really enjoyed. The mulberries play well and plenty of other fruit and sweet malts throughout create an exciting experience for the drinker. I think this brew would play well with a newbie to sours or a hardened fan of the tart. Well done.

A - This is different than any beer I've had. It's got a hue that I'm not used to seeing. Almost reminds me of De Garde Imperial Plum Bu. Really inviting.
S - Light tartness, like fruit, extremely refreshing smelling. Smells like something I could just crush.
T - Follows up the nose. You get a nice sourness, certainly nothing insane. The fruit is in there for a nice contrast from a lot of the beers in this style. Really on point.
M - This is the best part about this. It's so refreshing, drinkable, and just awesome. The fruit balances the sourness and it melds into something great.
O - I haven't had too many Carton beers, but this is definitely one of, if not the best. Boat is awesome as well. Would definitely recommend this batch. Perfect for a nice summer day.

Pourded into a wine glass, pinkish hued in color, with a half of finger of large white bubbled head. Smells of wheat and not much else. Easy drinking that's for sure. A slight sour crispness to it. Super duper crushable. Don't know what a Mulberry taste like, but there is a little bit of a berry taste to it. This was really nice summer beer. Not super tart, but definitely an above par berliner.

This beer is an excellent sour. I feel Carton is really stepping up there game and have some fantastic brews. If you like sours this is a very good beer with a kinda citrus twist. Overall if they canned this, I would buy it!
Bottom Line: Enjoyable beer.
