Pours jet black with a two inch fine light tan head.
Smells of roasted coffee, cocoa, figs, and grapes.
Flavor is of tart grape, roasted coffee, and some oak woodiness.
Medium body with a light tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A very nice dark wild ale with some great flavor and aroma. Very good brew and worth trying, hopefully I have the chance to again.

Looks black in dimmer light. The head has some decent height in the mini-snifter. Retains very well, too.
Stout-like roast aromas with a slicing tart note of cherry and currant. Lacking intensity. It has a little dark cocoa and faint lemon zest.
Tangy tartness with red-skinned berry, cocoa, moderate roast, sour toffee, oats, and some tree bark asrtingency. An herbal sour stout. Malts are thinned out, but still brawny enough. Nice accidental outcome.
Barely that puckery. Highly drinkable. Nice levels of carbonation and the balance with the body.

On tap in a stemmed tulip.
A- Dark brown color, minimal thin head. Lots of spotty lacing and visible carbonation in the dark brew.
S- Sour yet beer-like. Vanilla, some dark malt.
T- Sour light fruits mixed with stout malts; coffee, chocolate.
M- Very dry. Tart, sour. Beer-like. Very smooth.
O- Better than it looks.
