look: 3.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Black body. Doesn't appear as inky and black as previous batches. Small khaki head and a wispy surface.

Smell - The cognac is pretty nice. Less weird. Smoke balances very well. Boozy, but a rich cognac aroma.

Taste - Cognac is strong, especially up front. Chocolate. A little smoke. Cognac really dominates the whole thing, though.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Boozy. Well carbonated.

Overall - Cognac completely overwhelms, but it definitely works better than some of these other treatments. (554 characters)
