Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into an Allagash cervoise glass. No bottling date, but listed at 8.2%.

A: Hazy hay-colored with fine, bubbly head.

S: Fine and fruity.

T: Well-balanced tartness, fruitiness, maltiness, and dryness. Nothing overpowering or overwhelming. Distantly soapy (checked across two glasses, so not that). Crisp, and pleasant, and certainly easy drinking for the ABV. This grows on me. Strong citrus -- tangeriney, not too acidic, with some fruity sweetness. Bitterish aftertaste. Again, excellent balance.

O: Hugely disappointing and not worth the $17 I paid. For talking shit about Zombie Dust, this doesn't live up. Good beer, but not recommended.

A - Pours a beautiful glowing straw/golden color with a finger plus of dense off-white head, large/thin bubbles make up the head. Retention is strong and lacing is immense as well.

S - Dry citrus (grapefruit/lemon rind) with a bit of a grainy malty sweetness.

T - Solid 4.0+, dry grapefruit rind transforms into a slightly pungent dry resinous bitter. Finish is the perfect (minimal) amount malty (grainy as in the nose). Aftertaste is dry bitter and grainy.

M - Lighter bodied, well carbonated, fantastically drinkable. I'm really digging this.

O - I was afraid I would be let down based on this brews average score, but I really enjoy this, I'd be curious to see what the avg score was over the past several months, this seems like a really solid beer, well deserving of a 90+

Appearance is a soft yellow/orange and beautifully cloudy.

Smells of tropical fruits and hops, what I would expect for citra hops.

Tastes of orange, grapefruit, and other tropical fruits. Has a very bright and hoppy taste, with little bitterness.

Mouthfeel is wonderfully fruity but not too sweet.

Overall this beer really made me want another. I'll definitely be picking this up again, if I can find it.

22oz bottle from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 14.99. No apparent bottling date. Served in my Phish snifter.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with about a one finger cap of white head. The froth lingers in the form of a thin haze and nice halo that laces well.

Nice aromas of oranges, peach, pine, wheat and caramel.

Very citrusy flavor overall. Oranges, lemon peel, grapefruit, pine, cracker, caramel, pepper, vague mint and a little booze. Not much perceptable malt sweetness but the alcohol is blended well and the hops shine through nicely.

Sticky, medium body with moderately sharp carbonation. Grapefruit, orange zest and a little bit of cracker in the finish.

Drinks like an IPA and a half without quite the body or the relentless hop assault that I look for from a double/ imperial. An enjoyable quaff nonetheless. No problems downing 22 ounces and the only factor that would slow a repeat purchase is the relatively hefty price tag.
