On tap in a mug.
This beer pours a light see through black with a one finger head that lasts all the way down and laces the glass quite nicely. This smell and taste to this beer are somewhat light in my opinion. Its easy to drink but doesn't really pack a flavorful punch. The tastes are mostly roasted malts and a hint of coffee, an earthy dry aftertaste. I think this brew is a bit watered down, it doesn't have much feel to it at all. It is however, properly carbonated and smooth to drink. This was fairly plain to me and was one of their weaker offerings in my opinion.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Pours an opaque black with a thick, creamy light tan head.
S: Aromas of roasted grain, coffee, heavy cream, and dark chocolate fill the nose.
T: Notes of roasted grain, dried black cherry, coffee, heavy cream, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, black currant, leather, and tobacco wash across the palate. The finish is earthy, yet smooth, with notes of tobacco and leather from the hops dominating.
M: On the lighter side of medium in body, very creamy, and filling. Carbonation is unobtrusive and very gentle.
O: This is an excellent nitro stout. It packs much more heft and flavor than commercial examples of the style, but remains extremely accessible. Very satisfying.
Serving type: nitro-tap
