On draft at The Farmhouse Tap & Grill.

Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with thin white head. Nose smells clean and crisp with notes of wild flower honey or maybe agave syrup and grains.

Palate is zingy crisp at first and then steps back to allow some cereal grains and "fruit loops" (orange, lemon, lime, etc). Crisp but has nice texture.

Wow, what a complex little number! Really tasty.

Ok beer; nothing special. Poured at a good temperature with a small off-white head that doesn't last and no lace. Color is a very slightly hazy amber with many bubble trails. Aroma is beery, hop, bitter, spice, grass. Flavor's like nose, carbonic tang and bitter up front with a little malt sweet in finish. Body and carbonation are appropriate & good for this. Finish is like flavor, grain stands out, is of average length, and is easy drinking.

Poured into a pilsner a very light lemon yellow with a sticky white head that clung to the glass, great looking carbonation bubbles.Crushed malt and a real salinity in the aromas, different but in a very good way, there is real craftmanship to this pils that's easily seen.Very grainy on the palate with a firm toastiness, again that saline-like element comes into play, light pepery hops in the finish. This would be incredibly food friendly with it's salinity and toastiness...great with shellfish, much different than most of the style I have had and I ejoyed it alot.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pilsner glass. Had a pale yellow color and a clear texture. There was an inch of creamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A suprisingly citrusy aroma, with light hops evident as well.

T: Tasted of hops, a hint of malt, with some lemon, oranges and grain also. A typical pilsner flavor that's easy to drink. Could have used slightly less grain, though.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.

O: A solidly made, drinkable pilsner.

Yet another beer chosen for the low ABV and the fact that it's a pils.

Pours a beautiful golden color with a thick, frothy head into my glass. Wow. Stands out quite a bit.

Grainy malt with a subtle hop bite underneath. Relaxed. Most certainly to style.

Tasty with lots of sweet, buttery, grainy malt and just the right touch of hops. Not as strong as other examples I've had. Kind of like Prima Pils but mellower.

Again, a lot of flavor in this one. Fresh baked bread finish as well.

A remarkable example of a german pilsener. I might just buy it again since it won't play havoc with my heartburn like Prima and Noble Pils will.

Kissmeyer is a "gypsy brewer" much like Mikkeller, and this beer was brewed and bottled at Lervig Aktiebryggeri, Norway.

Best before May 2012 printed on the cap and back label.

Into a tulip glass it pours a very pale yet saturated golden yellow. Long lasting sticky foam that leaves a sea spray of lace all around the edges of the glass. Initial pour yields two fingers width of foam. Retention is good, and the 'stickage' is excellent. Concentric rings of drippy lacing result after several sips.

Aroma is mild, bready with a hint of vegetal hop greens. The label states "Dry Hopped Pilsner" but the aroma isn't really there. Not sure if it's faded during importation, but this just recently arrived. The "NZ" in the name suggests New Zealand hops.

Super clean and dry, extra crisp feel. Slightly lemony and tea-like, alternately dry and crackery like hardtack/crispbread/knäckebröd. Not too bitter, vaguely spicy, and definitely very little sweetness here. Finely tuned carbonation, complimentary to the simple flavors. It's all in the details here, and they all come together nicely.
