On Tap @ Indie Ale House.

A - Pale dark yellow with a ring of white head.

S - Very sweet nose with aromas of honey, grape musk, oak and light yeast esters.

T - Very sweet, as the nose indicated but not overly so. Grape and oak flavours up front with bread, honey and Belgian yeast notes as secondary flavours. The finish has a hint of spice and is slightly astringent from the oak.

M - Medium body. Light to moderate carbonation.

Had on tap at Indie Ale House, blonde and hazy with good head retention and lacing. Quite a fragrant sour with lots of apricot and fruity floral aromas. Taste is similar with a strong fruitiness and tropical notes, the sourness comes through with a strong lactic note, but lacking more of the complexity that would have developed with a long secondary fermentation, this is more indicative of a sour mashing which would likely make more sense for their set up, but the end result is not as complex. Still a nice lightly tart sour refresher.
