look: 3 | smell: 2 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5

appearance: Average in appearance clear filtered, frankly almost Bud like.

smell: Bitter like a pils smell, grainy and not really something I personally want to stick my nose in

taste: Well rounded flavor, tastes a bit sweet with some hoppy notes but overall not bad a nice brew actually.

mouthfeel: Stouter than you would think it is actually nice it sits there long enough to enjoy. A real feast actually.

overall: Really not bad I have seen this exported to Italy before and I must say I really enjoy it over all. Not a #1 but very drinkable

Sampled from a 33 cl bottle bought in Italy.

A - The color is an odd brownish gold. Extremely clear. Head is white, wispy and weak. There is some lacing.

S - The aroma is faint and hard to pick up. Very much like any international light lager. I expected some malt or alcohol, based on the alcohol content, but this smells like a Bud light or something similar. Light corn and very faint noble hops; nothing else.

T - Taste is clean at the beginning; some malt and a bit of noble hops with low bitterness. Late in the palate comes a burst of corn. Hops linger in the aftertaste. No yeast or alcohol flavors.

M - Light to moderate body. Light hops bitterness burn. No alcohol warming.

O - A very neutral and forgettable beer. It does not seem to have gained any significant character from being brewed to this high alcohol content.

330ml bottle from local bar in Calabria, Italy. Pours a deep crystal clear golden copper with a medium lasting white head, some lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some dark fruit notes, dates as it warms up, with some yeast and alcohol esters. Taste same as aroma with some sweet bitter flavors, and a bit of spicy notes as well. Palate is a medium body with good carbonation. Finishes with some sweet caramel malt, dark fruit, yeast, dates and a lingering sweet alcohol and nutty flavor. Overall nothing really stand out for this brew, an average ale.
