Poured from a bottle into a clean, clear glass at a rest stop on the side of an Italian highway. This stuff is very much available all over Italy. I think that I saw it in over 150 stores in bottles throughout Italy (I visited 14 cities in 9 days).

A Creamy big head over lager like body.

S Barley malt of some strength, some grains. Inviting, interesting.

T Strong light Ale, very close to lager in taste but with more strength.

M Medium with big ABV, some grains and the malt.

D Good for an ABV of 7.7%.

Not bad selection when in Italy. It is still VERY MUCH available everywhere that I went in Italy.

Bought in Italy [imported from Denmark]. One of the better beers I found in Italy and many locations have it. Not as strong as I thought it would be, smooth, good head, malty overtones.

From my notes 6/11/07 pours a one-finger white head that quickly to a ring, leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Malty hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is slight maltiness and slightly cidery, smooth. €2.80 ($3.84) for a 330ml green bottle from Autogrill Badia Al Pino Ouest, Italy.

Got it from Italy.

A-Dark gold with lots of bubbles. White foam, lasting minute or two.

S-Nothing special,some malts,sweetness and a bit metallic touch.

T/M-Very drinkable, not so strong in the taste or in the head. On the first high carbonation, warm and bitter aftertaste.

O-I would say this is strong beer with lower strong taste.

Bought in Italy in a green bottle. Light to medium golden color, crystal clear. Thin head that didn't last too long. little carbonation. Smell was sort of a skunky maltiness. Starts like a mild lager with a bit of skunkiness and finishes with a stronger maltiness (slightly fruity) and alcohol bite on the middle to back of the tongue. Starts sort of light and finishes strong.

appearance: Average in appearance clear filtered, frankly almost Bud like.

smell: Bitter like a pils smell, grainy and not really something I personally want to stick my nose in

taste: Well rounded flavor, tastes a bit sweet with some hoppy notes but overall not bad a nice brew actually.

mouthfeel: Stouter than you would think it is actually nice it sits there long enough to enjoy. A real feast actually.

overall: Really not bad I have seen this exported to Italy before and I must say I really enjoy it over all. Not a #1 but very drinkable

330ml bottle

A- Golden to amber in colour. Medium white head that shows very little retention but leaves some lacing

S- Strong caramel malts and some alcoholic notes

T- Caramel malts again and a faint hint of hops, with some sirupy corn notes that remind me of an adjunct lager. Alcohol is quite easily detectable

M- Medium body. A lively carbonation brings some life. Decently warming from it's alcoholic feel

O- A very easy drink and overall a decently enjoyable beer

like everyone else i tried this in italy, in rome. the villa borghese was across the street from my hotel and i'd buy a few bottles from a vendor in the park and throw them in my back pack for later that night. the appearance is good. it has a good head. color is boring transparent gold. taste has some bite to it but you get use to it soon enough. an ok beer that does the job in a pinch. i.e.... your on vacation in rome and good beer is very, very, very hard to find.
