Smells very floral with a crisp subtle mint, maybe some eucalyptus and some underlying fruitiness. The taste is very smooth and sweet with the hop flavors described in the smell all melding together. Slight bit of alcohol to let you know its a double ipa. The more and more I drink this beer the more I get complexities from the hops used. I had this and a two hearted back to back and this one is winning in my opinion. Perhaps its the better mouthfeel because of the double IPA but I just like this taste better. Anyways, solid beer that leaves just enough bitterness to let you know it means business.

quick note: whatever happened to writing up a full review on BA? Hopefully this is a little more comprehensive than the other reviews:
Appearance: light golden/orange with 1 finger head
Aroma: slight orangey hops, malts and alcohol heat also present
Taste: hoppy on the front end but not overly bitter. Nice malty backbone however the alcohol is slightly noticeable but given that it's 9.4% it's still very drinkable. A great tasting DIPA.
Light-to-medium body. Average carbonation.
A nice DIPA - surprisingly light yet also nice and hoppy. I would buy this again.

Fairly heavy and malty mouthfeel. Resinous hop profile that doesn't impress much. Not bad, somewhat generic.

I am really starting to love golden road. The smell is pretty hoppy with more hops. There is a sweet backbone. It's kind of like wolf among weeds but with a slightly more alcoholic taste but at 9.4% and well hidden, but I'm not complaining. The only problem is that the finish is very alcoholic and flat
