A-cloudy, yellow, billowing white head with some filthy lacing....proper hefe!

S-Clove, banana, bubble gum but neither of the three in abundance, or to the point that I wished it was 'more balanced'...they hit the esters just right on this one.

T-Nice and fluffy, just a tad of spice from the phenols, more clove, some gum and a nice little bit of hop kick in the finish. THIS was another one of those beers that just went down too easily.

M-Another balanced, enjoyable and firm feel from GR...can't say I'd change a thing on this hefe...I havn't enjoyed this style for a while now outside of Weihenstephaner...glad there is a new kid in town.

O-Impressive, and enjoyable. I will be giving these guys a lot of money in the future :(

Hazy, golden orange and and yellow with a thick white head, though, surprisingly, it doesn't leave much lace at all on the glass.

Pleasant and somewhat simple aroma: light banana and clove with a bit of wheat. Not as strong or powerful as my favorite within this style.

Light banana, clove, a hint of black pepper, and a little pear combine for a pleasing, accessible flavor. The flavors aren't quite as big and bold as I would prefer, even within style, but I think this is a very accessible and drinkable hefeweizen.

Medium mouthfeel with ample carbonation.

I think Golden Road accomplished exactly what they sought to do with this beer: an accessible, incredibly drinkable, relatively low-alcohol, flavorful hefeweizen.

Standard hazy burnt orange color, not much head on this pour. Aroma is light banana clove. Very complete and balanced. Taste is similar. Everything you look for in a hefeweizen yet no one steals the show. Mouthfeel is fantastic. Particularly light yet still full and flavorful. Slight creaminess. This is not a style I particularly like but this is a beer I would happily drink again and again. Overall great balance and a very thoughtful and delicious approach to a style that can often be one dimensional.

Can courtesy of Nosignsofpain. Thanks Sam!

A - Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a soapy white head that settles to a think haze and sudsy ring, leaving spotty lacing clinging to the glass.
S - Crisp, fruity aromas of banana and ripe pear with a touch of clove and a good amount of sweet bubblegum character.
T - Moderately flavorful, with banana and bubblegum jumping out the most, followed by a muted clove note. A bit watered-down.
M - Fairly crisp, with a slightly watery medium-thin body and good carbonation.
O - Decent enough Hefeweizen, probably nice on a hot day, but I'll stick with Weihenstephaner.

A-Golden tangerine with vibrant white foam out of the can.

S-Soft banana

T-Banana and lemon citrus.

M-Creamy texture with good length on the finish. My favorite part of the beer.

O-Not bad, best during a warm day. Not terribly remarkable however.

Cloudy burnt orange colored beer with essential no head.

Smell is spicy, smells of Belgian witbier yeast and bitter orange. Distinct Earl Grey tea aroma. There is a little bruised banana aroma but the Belgian scent is far stronger.

Starts out light and spicy with a banana and oranges flavor. Lemon is present as a slight sourness. Lots of wheat malt but no toasted flavor, think Matzoh bread not saltine cracker. Lightly sweet be really has more of a sensation of starchiness. Slight passion fruit flavor.

Mouthfeel is light.

Overall a weird yet tasty take on the Wheat beer concept. Would love to see their version of a straight up Belgian Witbier.
