Typical nitro pour to this. Black in color with a creamy tan head. Nose is somewhat watery. A bit of roast, maybe a little coffee and dark chocolate. The flavor is quite bland. As with the aroma, light roast, coffee, and chocolate. Mild earthy hop notes. Body is weak at best. Unoffensive, innocuous, but just not something I’d care to drink.

On nitro tap at Blue Palms Brewhouse in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours an opaque black with a dense 1/2 inch khaki head that lasts. A nice curtain of lace forms on the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, coffee beans, and cocoa powder. Taste is of dark roasted malt, bittersweet cocoa, and coffee. A roasty bitterness lingers on the palate after each sip. This beer has a very smooth and creamy mouthfeel from the nitro tap but it's a bit thin. Overall, this is a good stout with some nice aromas and flavors but the nitro treatment gives the beer a lacking mouthfeel.
